The Appleton Area School district's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Department is seeking an Indigenous artist from Wisconsin to create a mural for our new diversity center. Our objective is to have our Indigenous students, families, and community members represented in this piece. We also want this piece to serve as an educational opportunity for our district. We are looking for someone who is available at the end of July, early August. If you are interested, please contact Pa Lee Moua and Shelby Siebers, they will discuss details and compensation: mouapalee@aasd.k12.wi.us and Shelby Siebers, siebersshelby@aasd.k12.wi.us.

Call for artists!

The Poeh Cultural Center is holding the inaugural Pathways Native Arts Festival August 20–22, 2021. Held at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino—located just 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, on the Pueblo of Pojoaque—the event will host over 500 Native artists, and feature artist booths, live music, and amazing food all in the kind of event that is fun, personal and free to the public.

To learn more about Pathways Native Arts Festival and apply for an artist booth, visit www.poehcenter.org/pathways/.
