Mia’s Art of Inclusion Fellowship is a year-long opportunity designed to strengthen the leadership pathway within art museums for identified populations who have been historically underrepresented: people of color and indigenous people. Three fellowship positions are funded by the Ford Foundation and Walton Family Foundation through the Diversifying Art Museum Leadership Initiative.
Fellowship applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years of college or equivalent experience. The Fellowship is for people of color and indigenous people. Experience in the arts, museums, or academia is not required, and a fellow’s academic background is not limited to art or a specific major. A liberal arts/humanities background is a plus.

The North American Indigenous Games Council (NAIG)—Team Wisconsin, is looking to create a visual representation of who they are. This can be considered a “Logo” contest. We are currently looking for an artist who is a tribal member in the state of Wisconsin and who can design a creative, innovative, professional design that is easily recognizable and promotes Team Wisconsin in a positive manner.
Our goal is to have a design that promotes “Team Wisconsin through NAIG’s beliefs of “The Spirit Strong, Brave & True.”

The eleventh annual Arts in the Community Awards, presented by Arts Wisconsin in partnership with the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, honor communities and civic leaders around the state for championing the arts, culture and creativity as integral to economic, educational and community vitality. Call For Mural Artists!
For this mural, we would like to focus on the unity of our community at the Three Corners location and the bringing together of individuals. With the concept of our new logo, a finger print to recognize the identity of each individual in our community, we would like to incorporate this somewhere in our design to show diversity. Show us your designs!
· Each artist must submit a description and design which illustrates their overall concept. This includes a complete digital design, the desired medium(s), a timeline for completion, and the approximate dimensions of desired design. All applications documents can be sent to email@example.com.

Oneida Smartphone Film Festival Kickoff-June 20
The Oneida Film Society presents the first Oneida Smartphone Film Festival! The theme for the festival is Telling Our Own Stories. Our vision is to create a film platform for novice and experienced filmmakers to incorporate talent and creativity into a 3-10 minute film captured on a smartphone or tablet. We are looking for stories created by Wisconsin residents that represent Native communities and inspire individuals to promote self-discovery, connection, and build relationships with others. Submissions will narrate belief, culture, and personal stories. Film submissions will be showcased at the film festival in November. Up to $2,000 in cash prizes!

Join us and learn how to create and submit films from your smartphone or tablet with our storyboard and technology workshops. Workshops will be led by filmmakers Alex Zacarias, Michelle Danforth-Anderson, and Apple Certified Trainer Nathan Fregien with guest speaker Debra Morningstar. Debra Morningstar will present Moccasin Walk: Finding My Way Back Home. Workshops will concentrate on storyboarding, ideas to create a film, Apple and Android smartphone filmmaking apps. We will review and demonstrate emerging smartphone filmmaking apps while exploring editing techniques along with other smartphone filmmaking tips and tricks including:

Call for Artstreet 2019 Image Design Competition Entries
Mosaic Arts Inc., and the Artstreet 2019 Events and Design Committee are in search of an official promotional image that exemplifies the essence of the Artstreet fine arts festival and Mosaic Arts Inc. Artstreet will be held August 23-25.
The entrant with the design that best represents the spirit of Artstreet will be the recipient of a $300 cash prize.
Artists should invest in designs that are original, creative, imaginative, unique and convey the overall messages of Artstreet. The chosen design will be displayed as the official image on all Artstreet 2019 posters, t-shirts and other miscellaneous promotional materials.

The University of Minnesota's Dance Program is currently accepting proposals for a new mural for the lobby of the Barbara Barker Center for Dance. This award-winning building is dedicated primarily to dance education and research at the University. It also serves the larger Twin Cities performing arts community through rentals. In this 20th anniversary year of the building, program leadership has identified the need for a rejuvenation of its space. The purpose of the new, two-dimensional mural is to infuse the space with a sense of joy, energize all who enter, evoke the idea of movement, and simply inspire. The selected artwork is the centerpiece of this project, which also includes new lobby furnishings and photography installations throughout the building.
Any artist is welcome to submit a proposal. Preference will be given to artists with a connection to Minnesota. The program warmly invites all artists, including underrepresented and marginalized voices to submit their work for consideration. Artists at any stage of their career are also encouraged to apply.

The Minnesota Historical Society is seeking applications for the 2019 Native American Artist-in-Residence Program. In 2019, the program will award 2 residencies for Native artists engaged in traditional artmaking and provide them stipends to connect with museum collections, peer artists, and/or other knowledgeable community members. Call for Artists - Annual Iroquois Indian Festival

Please join us at our 38th Annual Iroquois Festival, scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, August 31 & September 1 (Labor Day Weekend). This is an invitational event intended to showcase the high quality Iroquois art being produced today. In addition to visual artists and craftspeople, there will be dancers, storytellers, and food vendors. The Iroquois Indian Museum is a non-profit institution dedicated to educating the public about Iroquois culture, using Iroquois art as a window into culture. By participating in the Festival, you join us in a celebration of Iroquois creativity, and serve as a cultural ambassador to festival goers.
We will be requesting the same documentation for the sale of Native artwork that other museums and marketplace events require. All NEW artists wishing to participate in the Festival must submit PROOF OF IROQUOIS/HAUDENOSAUNEE ENROLLMENT or if non-enrolled, CERTIFICATION BY THE NATION OF HIS/HER IROQUOIS DESCENT with registration. While we admire the dedication of all those who create, our mission is specifically to promote Iroquois artisans and art.
Each artist will be provided a booth, consisting of two 6’ tables and 2 chairs set up under a large tent. If you require more tables, you must reserve them in advance and pay a fee of $10 per table. This year we are asking for cash or check payment in advance for your booth fee. The booth fee is: $100, which is payable in cash or check. You must reserve your booth by clicking the link:

There are about 30 available booths, and they will be reserved on a first-come / first-serve basis. If you prefer to bring your own tent and tables you are welcome to set up next to the Museum tents.
The Festival is open 10 AM to 5 PM each day, rain or shine. If you agree to come to the festival we need, and expect, that you will be here for the entire Festival. Please bring enough inventory. The event is costly for the Museum to put on and many of our visitors travel a long distance to meet you.
The Festival is designed to show high quality work by Iroquois artists and craftspeople. Only Iroquois hand-made work should be displayed and sold. Preferably it should be your own work and your best. Handmade work from Iroquois members of your community is also acceptable. Imitations, commercial imports, and items made by non-native individuals are not permitted. Special requests, such as electricity, can sometimes be arranged in advance. We ask that you use our tables and park your vehicles in the areas we provide so that everyone can get around safely.
Lastly, if you find yourself traveling through the area this summer, please consider joining us any weekend to promote your art. While we will not have tents and tables available, you are welcome to set up your own and sell your work. Attendance is usually best when we have scheduled events. Check the calendar on our website for dates. There is no booth fee for setting up on these days.

Call for Artists! - Art Bench Project
Definitely De Pere seeks artists, designers, and makers from all backgrounds to create artistic benches for placement at various locations along downtown De Pere's main corridors. The ideal bench will provide respite and relaxation opportunities, and be both functional and artistically interesting.
$30,000 will be awarded to the chosen artist for the design and fabrication of approximately 6 - 10 benches, depending on scale and materials used the number could be less or more. Project specifications and entry criteria can be found here.

Call for Artists! - Sculpture Walk
Sculpture Walk De Pere, a new project designed to integrate art to enliven the downtown streetscape, is an ongoing seasonal public art exhibit of original outdoor sculpture. Works will be on display June through October along the blocks of 100 South and 100 North Broadway Street.
Throughout the duration of the exhibit, the public will vote for the People's Choice Purchase Award (up to) $15,000. The winning sculpture will be purchased by Definitely De Pere at the end of the exhibit year for its permanent installation downtown.

The 45th Annual Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass Arts Festival will be held on Sunday, July 21st, 2019 from 10am until 4pm at scenic Riverside Park in Neenah. The Arts Festival is a much loved Fox Valley tradition where friends and family gather, shop and relax all in support of the Arts in their community.
The juried festival features fine arts and crafts from artist across the region in a variety of media. It attracts approximately 5,000 patrons each year and features great food, children's activities and a beer garden with live bands on the lakeside lawn of the museum.
